I'll definitely give them a try, but here's what I ended up doing and it seems very fast:
- I got rid of the visible list
- When a tile is visible, I simply set it's ExploreValue to -1. If three ants can see it I set it three times to "-1", but at least I dont have to run a check to see "if it is in the visible list"
after that, I simply increase the ExploreValue of every tile. Again this is much faster since I dont have an "if it is in the visible list" check.
