Submission in PHP-CLI

Postby fhoenig » Sun Feb 07, 2010 12:25 am

Hey there -

I put together a package for PHP 5.3 CLI and wondering how to submit that.
Do you guys have an interpreter installed?

Best,

We have PHP 5.2.6. However any new languages need support added in various places by contest staff. If you post it we'll see if we can get it working.

Thanks. I'll remove 5.3 language elements and upload it. Or just go back to C

I've uploaded a player in PHP but presumably my submission is failing because I don't think the language has been added in the appropriate locations.

Runs OK locally using `php MyTronBot.php`

It shouldn't take too much effort to add support for this.

Thanks.

Could you put together a starter package for it?

The player I uploaded is pretty much a direct port of the other starter packages.

I'll clean it up a little bit and upload a more tidy version suitable for the public.

It's unfinished and a little buggy but it'll give you a place to start.

I abandoned PHP for C++.

Main two things that need fixing:

1) exit gracefully
2) make sure STDIN is reading correctly
