C++ rocks for challenges like this! Even though I still prefer Python due to its speed of development, having to port my bot to C++ before the end of the contest is a likely option.

If you look at http://www.ai-contest.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=995 there is a hope that genocide against C# will come to the end. At least we've got some reponse from organisers. I also had an idea for switching to Java or C++ or even something more exotical like PHP, but as the problem continued my confidence in C# become stronger for going till end. TCP is everything in those moments.
