Could the admins please at least say that "yes, we may look at this", or "no, C# 2 is all you get".

I don't know whether to rewrite my code into C# 2 or continue developing in C# 3, so I'm not developing at all...

I hate to belabor the point, but count me as one more waiting for an update. I don't want to waste time using newer features in all my underlying tools, only to have to backport if only 2.0 is supported. At the same time, I'd really rather use LINQ/lambdas/etc, so I also don't want to just code everything to the 2.0 standard when an upgrade may already be in the works. From my understanding, and based on what others have posted on the bug tracker, this shouldn't be a difficult update to make. If it is, though, that's fine -- I just want to know what we should realistically expect.

They say "C# is just waiting for the next language push"... whatever this means.

i hate that versión i am spending more time fixing issues with 2.0 than programing logic for my bot, that is disgusting and probably i wont continue until they upgrade to the new mono version.

Sometimes i would like i was born in the python world.

At least we can run C#3-based bots on TCP server, it's fun :)

Another vote for C#3.

What's a "language push"?

Hei

a "____ push" means that they are attending to things in a rotating fashion.

At this moment Game/bot failures seem to be highest priority, "yesterday"
it was getting the cloud servers running. "tommorrow" it will be ??????.
Eventually, dealing with the requests for New/Updated programming languages
will get its turn at the top.
