Wow, why so desperate for slow ORM? Lambdas and LINQ etc are nice from a minimal dev effort standpoint but not something I'd be even considering to use for in a situation where efficiency matters. I don't even really know how LINQ would help much when you're getting a small range of pure integers already. Lambda expressions are nice again from a minimal dev effort standpoint but slower than anon delegates which 2.0 has - but which are slower than static predicates which are slower than sorted lists which are slower than just writing a small array iterator function.

I love 2.0, honestly - the only thing I really miss is HashSet which I would probably try not to use anyway because the most efficient code is the code that uses the simplest possible concepts even if you have to bend OO somewhat and I'd say efficiency trumps OO in this situation, at least.

Dev effeciency is usually more important than program effeciency. Once you've got the right algorithms (you'll get there faster with dev effeciency) you can always optimize them.

Bump!

If you are not going to to support C# 3, that's "fine", but please let us know what your plans are.

c# has been 90%+ failure uploading for the last 10 days or so because of their chosen compiler who cares about 3.0 just make 2.0 work at least
