Note to the organizers -- if this perl starter kit is better than the one I previously submitted, then by all means take it. I'm looking forward to MyBot.pl being added as a choice!

I noticed your submission after i posted this. I noted that a difference, the C++ algorithm (which i hadn't looked at) doesn't use objects. I consider objects a powerful tool, especially in a game-environment.

However, i always respect people who write Perl.

I hope you don't mind, but i've forked your git repo and made some modifications - nothing major, but I have included the Java tools and a script to run the perl bot on them, which should make it easier for people to get started.

I've also added a README, split the Perl packages into their own files, and fixed some whitespace issues that were bugging me (but that's just a stylistic thing).
