VB6 kit?

Postby RyokuHasu » Wed Nov 02, 2011 10:38 pm

I know it's a bit late to ask, and I myself am already using VB.NET, but VB6 is different from VB.NET. like C and C++, they just don't copy over exactly and are 2 different languages.

Is it possible to have a VB6 kit too? Many people still like the code and it would be nice to see what people can do with it.

I don't think there are any good compilers for VB6. You'd have to run wine to get this to work. Creating a command line VB6 app involves Win32API calls to do standard IO operations.

I think we should help the world evolve from ON ERROR RESUME NEXT code and just say no to VB6.
