This is worrisome. I would like to be able to submit my bot before the contest ends >.>;;

Is there anything I can do to help solve the problem, or is it strictly server side?

Btw my method of zipping is using the native compress contextual command on Mac OS X (I'm using Lion). This is standard zip.

It has worked in the past. It usually works

Have you tried uploading older versions?

It seems like your have 2 users http://aichallenge.org/find_user.php?us ... &search=Go .

First one has a ton of unpacking errors, but then you have a successful submission dec 12, but then you have more unpacking errors.

Second account has successful submissions from today.

PS: Are you aware that having 2 accounts is against the rules?

Yes, I am aware. The second one was to test memory constraints. I only made two submissions with the jaman4dbz2 account, one to test about 1GB and another to test about 4GB, I don't plan on continuing to use them [I would delete it if I could].

I've been submitting to jaman4dbz for the last couple hours.

EDIT: I didn't see your last part. No I did not realize it was against the rules, but I can understand why it is. I'm sorry about that, and I really don't care to have the second account, and apologize for not being more thorough with the rules.

EDIT: Also, I tried an old submission from December 11th. It also failed to unzip (same error).

So what have you done that one time where it worked?

Same thing I always do. run a make clean, then modify the compiler to be "g++" instead of my "g++-4" and comment out the addition for -DDEBUG in the make file. Then I compressed it using the context menu in Mac OS X.

EDIT: btw, up above I mentioned that I tried zipping an old submission from December 11th and it still failed.

I just tried using "zip -r" command to zip, instead of the context menu, and I get the same error.
Also, I've noticed it has gotten really fast at giving me the error =P. Before it would take 20 or so seconds before it erred.

Remember that the makefile is not used by the servers. So no need to do that g++ stuff.

I'm gonna look at your zip, and if i see anything wrong with it i'll ping you. Joining IRC might also be a good idea.

Good idea. I'll hang around on the irc. I appreciate the help, also if I knew you didn't use my makefile I could have saved my self many collective minutes =P.
