Too many open files

Postby bocsimacko » Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:24 pm

My common lisp submission tries to load the code by defining an asdf system for it. Compilation fails with $SUBJECT:

unhandled SIMPLE-ERROR in thread #<SB-THREAD:THREAD "initial thread" RUNNING {10023BE521}>:
Error during processing of --eval option (LOAD #P"MyTronBot.lisp"):

error opening #P"/home/contest/tron/all_entries/submit/a34g/107646/./my-tron-bot.asd":
Too many open files

Just how low is the limit for the number of open files?

Hmm, seems to be a problem with asdf getting into infinite recursion. I worked around it, thanks.
