Local Problem: Can't find MyTronBot.exe

Postby hb44 » Mon Feb 15, 2010 12:09 am

After my last build with Visual C++ Express Edition I can no longer find MyTronBot.exe and can no longer run a test.

The build output was

------ Build started: Project: MyTronBot, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
Compiling...
MyTronBot.cc
Generating Code...
Skipping... (no relevant changes detected)
Map.cc
Linking...
LINK : C:\Documents and Settings\Harry Brand\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\MyTronBot\Debug\MyTronBot.exe not found or not built by the last incremental link; performing full link
Embedding manifest...
Build log was saved at "file://c:\Documents and Settings\Harry Brand\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\MyTronBot\MyTronBot\Debug\BuildLog.htm"
MyTronBot - 0 error(s), 0 warning(s)
========== Build: 1 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

I did a system search with no luck either.

In desparation I tried to start over.

I downloaded the C++ starter package, and unzipped it.

The expected cpp folder was not produced.

Don't know what to do next.

Try looking in <user>/Documents/<visual studio>/Projects/<MyTronBot>/debug

Visual studio doesn't put it in the same folder.
