weird timeout problem

Postby pierrejoel » Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:45 pm

i am getting some weird timeout problem when i reach ranking 4, even when i limit my code to 500ms (using clock()).
i didn't experienced any timeout when testing using the local tournament engine on my computer.

i heard that some "random maps" up to 50x50 may be used. any luck that this is related to my problem?

btw is there a way to get any log/stderr/data back from the site when a submission is suspended?

does the opponent still wins the match when a bot get suspended?

and if yes is there a way a known wich map and which bot was playing against you when a bot get suspended?

that's a lot of questions still unanswered for me ;)

I think time is measured in real time rather than CPU time. clock() measures CPU time. Maybe that is the problem.
