Error in c++ starter kit

Postby utoz07 » Fri Feb 19, 2010 11:14 pm

I think there is a little mistake in the C++ starter kit :
For the initial position of the players, is_wall is set to false.
In java starter kit, it is set to true which seems more logical.
I can imagine some situations where it can be a problem!

At the beginning of my move method, I copy the map to a 2D array and then set both players' positions to true on it - preventing any possible inconsistencies.

Yep, this is a bug, you can even modify to fix it.
