Java Map.initialize() method way too slow.

It's taking about 900ms for the Map.initialize() method to run using the Java pack.

Is this happening for everyone else using Java?

Also, my bot has been playing just fine for me, but is timing out when I upload it. Is there a way to get more details on the timeout, i.e. how long the calculations actually took?

The sooner you port over to C#, the better.

The problem most likely lies with the crappy openJDK VM being used instead of Sun's official software, but the organizers have recognized, and will not fix the issue.
