Rules - tweaking the execution environment legal?

Postby Toninja » Fri Feb 26, 2010 12:43 pm

Hi there,

I'm wondering if tweaking the execution environment is legal according to this contest's rules, in particular I'm wondering about using Python's sys module tweaks such as setrecursionlimit, setcheckinterval, etc.

Can anyone clarify on this?

Thanks

Sorry for the bump but forgot to put this on the original post. How about using psyco? Is it legal? Can we include it in our bot? I think with the speed disadvantage of using Python (versus C++ for instance) I guess it would be fair to use an extra hand :p

I think so, if it works.
