Agreed, the new maps are much better at preventing quick draws.

Good maps. I'd vote for removing the empty map with starting points on the sides.

I suggest that we have ranking for the maps as well as for the players. The maps that are least often drawn are the best ones. Probably all symmetrical maps are theoretical draws, but some are more obviously drawn than others. The maps that are most often drawn should gradually be removed from rotation, because those have been figured out, and no longer provide discrimination among the top players.

I think that some people will be surprised as to which maps turn out to be best on this criterion. I'll bet that "mazy" maps with lots of one-wide corridors end up drawn more often than the totally empty board with bots starting adjacent in the middle. But don't believe my hunch: Keep statistics!
