There are now an additional 75 maps for a total of 150 being used in the final tournament. If you want to try out these maps yourself they are available from the zips below.

Also for those who want to do more analysis of the game results the raw pgn result files as fed to bayeselo can be downloaded from . It currently has from the last day of competition up through the present. This will probably change to give a better spread of data from the open competition though.

Thanks for giving us some information. Based on that it seems that the cutoff will be raised gradually, which I really like. The current plan allows most bots at least another day to enjoy in the competition. After the 3200 cutoff you can go in powers of two: 2048, 1024, 512, 256, 128, 64, 32.

Janzert, given the nature of the game we have to accept that there might be a tiny bit of luck in the final rankings, due to the random selection of maps and opponents. I think you are doing a great job of making that as small as possible. I don't see any reason for anyone to complain about it.
